Tanto es as\u00ed que tienda a analizar el entorno con detalle y paciencia antes de decidir qu\u00e9 hacer o c\u00f3mo actuar.<\/p>\n<p>Debido a esta independencia, no suelen ser perros especialmente obedientes. Pese a ello,\u00a0<strong>los Shih Tzu son amantes de las personas y de la familia<\/strong>, lo que los convierte en un compa\u00f1ero muy leal. Aunque el ShihTzu no es muy paciente con los ni\u00f1os, tiende a relacionarse bien con ellos, llegando a ser en ocasiones <strong>un perfecto compa\u00f1ero para los juegos de los m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os<\/strong>. Para afianzar el v\u00ednculo afectivo entre ellos, podemos ense\u00f1ar a los ni\u00f1os de una edad un poco avanzada a cepillar al ShihTzu, de esta manera pasar\u00e1n m\u00e1s tiempo juntos y respet\u00e1ndose mutuamente.<\/p>\n<p>El ShihTzu es un excelente perro para convivir en un apartamento, su peque\u00f1o tama\u00f1o y su baja destructividad lo hacen id\u00f3neo, adem\u00e1s, muestra una buena relaci\u00f3n con otros animales, por lo que ser\u00e1 perfecto si tenemos otras mascotas.<\/p>\n<p>A diferencia de otros perros, <strong>no suelen ser ejemplares excesivamente ruidosos o inquietos<\/strong>, por lo que tan solo ladrar\u00e1 cuando realmente lo necesite o crea oportuno, sin dejarse llevar por impulsos.<\/p>\n<p>Dada la ingenuidad y bondad de su car\u00e1cter, es recomendable socializarlo con otros perros, ya sean de su misma raza o de otras. No hay que dejarnos enga\u00f1ar por su comportamiento adorable, ya que intentar\u00e1 salirse con la suya haci\u00e9ndose el simp\u00e1tico y moviendo la cola para que olvidemos que no se ha comportado como esper\u00e1bamos.<\/p>\n<p>Responde muy bien al refuerzo positivo y obtendremos grandes resultados siempre que mantengamos las sesiones cortas y seamos constantes. Hay que ser muy paciente y no gritarle de repente cuando haga algo mal.<\/p>\n<p>La parte m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de adiestrar con un Shih Tzu, como pasa con otros perros peque\u00f1os, es que aprenda a hacer sus necesidades donde y cuando queramos. No debemos olvidar que hay que supervisarlo de cerca cuando es cachorro para que no se acostumbre a hacer sus necesidades en nuestra alfombra. Si hace de ello un h\u00e1bito, nos ser\u00e1 muy dif\u00edcil corregir ese comportamiento.
